The truth about coffee

The truth about coffee…

I love coffee.

Let’s get that out there straight away. It tastes amazing and I know first-hand what a pick-me-up it provides when used correctly.

But I’m sure you’ve heard of the phrase ‘you can have too much of a good thing’.

There is a difference between ‘wanting’ a coffee and ‘needing’ one.

I’ve been there before in my body-building days. I used coffee and the caffeine it provides as a pick-me-up and that’s fine to do that every now and again.

But if that evolves and you start ‘needing’ it every day then it can be a sign that your body is showing high signs of stress.

So what other signs are there?

Here’s just a few and remember if any of the below applies to you then it’s common… but it’s not normal.

➡️ You’re waking up to go to the toilet in the night.
➡️ You wake up feeling groggy and don’t want to get up.
➡️ You struggle to lose weight.
➡️ You can’t concentrate for any significant periods.

These are all signs that your body could be under chronic stress and if you’re adding some high doses of caffeine into the mix it can lead to trouble in the long run.

I don’t want to take your fun away.

A good coffee is one of life’s pleasures but think about this when you’re having it.

Are you drinking it because you want it, or because you need it?

If it’s the latter then it’s time to address some of the underlying reasons behind it.

We can stuck into this during my Brain Fog Blitz course that I’m launching next month.

The course normally costs $97 but if you sign up before September 18 then it’s just $77 and you will also get a one-to-one call with me to help get you back to being the absolute best version of yourself.
