“Oh crap, I probably need to do something about this!”

Is exactly what I said one morning a few months ago when I was getting ready for church.

I was putting on my black dress pants, one leg in, the other leg in, and now it was time to button the pants.

So I held my breath, buttoned the pants, let my breath out and…

“TING, TACK, Ting!”

The button popped right off, hit the mirror, and fell on the floor.

It was at that point that I said, oh crap, I probably need to do something about this.

So I did.

From a size 32 to a size 34.

Some more time passed without going to the gym or going out to run…

So my “computer belly” was starting to become uncomfortably noticeable for my liking…

And again, I thought… “oh crap, I probably need to do something about this!”

But instead of just buying bigger shirts… which I did consider…

I got a message out of the blue from this guy Ollie Matthews.

I didn’t know him but he introduced himself as the guy who helped train a friend of mine for a marathon.

He was also already helping another friend out with his health and fitness.

Long story short, we got on the phone…

He listened to what I liked and disliked and my specific situation and created CUSTOM eating plan and workout plan that would work with my schedule and situation.

For example…

I hadn’t been going to the gym in awhile, so I was out of that habit. We started with some at-home bodyweight exercises to get me in the habit of just getting regular movement into my day.

After a few weeks, now I’m back in the gym 4 to 5 times a week and loving it.

I hadn’t taken a look at exactly WHAT I was eating and HOW much of it I was eating. Now I know exactly what to eat, how much of it to eat, when to eat it and because of the way my plan is set up, I’m STILL able to eat foods that I enjoy and still cut the weight.

For example, this weekend I had pizza, soda, brisket, cheesy potatoes, and sliced pickles and I still dropped 1.9 lbs down from last week.

And it’s all because Ollie has created a plan I can follow and stick with, plus it doesn’t hurt that he holds me accountable every week.

Because today I weighed myself again and I’m now at 151.7 lbs down from 165 lbs when I started just over 2 months ago.

That’s a loss of about 13 lbs and my size 34 pants now fall off if I don’t wear a belt.

My shirts are getting tighter in the right areas and less so in others.

I’m getting to bed much earlier most of the time before 10-11, when my normal would be to go to bed around 2-3am.

I’m getting up much earlier now around 6am to start my day and I’m feeling overall more productive.

My energy and focus has improved and I’m feeling much better than I did just a couple months ago.
